Nothing here is pulled from a warehouse. A bed exists only after someone orders it, and it takes two to four weeks from that moment to your door. This is what fills the time.
Week one: the frame
Your order arrives with the size, the fabric family and colour, and any storage or delivery options. The frame is cut to that size in the workshop. Every UK size is standard, and an in-between or oversize frame costs a conversation rather than a compromise, because the same hands cut it either way.
Weeks two and three: upholstery
The headboard shape is built up, padded and covered by hand in the cloth you chose. Curved, scalloped and channelled designs are shaped on the frame, not bought in. The base is upholstered to match; if you chose the front-lift storage base, its gas struts and platform are fitted now. Fabric from the same batch is used across the whole bed, and across every bed in a multi-room order.
Checking
The finished bed is assembled, checked and photographed before it is wrapped. If anything is not right it does not leave. That is where the five-year guarantee comes from.
Delivery
We telephone to agree a date. Deliveries run Monday to Friday, doorstep delivery across mainland UK is free, and you can choose room-of-choice delivery or white-glove assembly with the packaging taken away when you order.

The workshop at Knowles Road, Batley has made beds for over four decades, most of that time for other people's labels. Selling direct changes nothing about how a bed is made and everything about the price you pay for it. You can visit by appointment, or start with the beds.
