Every bed on this page is made to order in our West Yorkshire workshop, in the fabric you choose, on a frame built to be re-covered rather than replaced. Nothing here is held in a warehouse. That is why the lead time is measured in weeks, and why the bed arrives as yours rather than as stock.

Will a double bed fit your room?

The bed is rarely the constraint — the space around it is. A double needs 135cm of wall, plus room to walk and to open a wardrobe. Comfortable both sides: a wall run of 2.6m or more. Workable with one side to the wall: from 2.0m. Below 2.0m, consider a small double at 120cm, or a wall-mounted headboard to recover the depth a strutted headboard takes.
