The Wave Bed

Yes. The Wave Bed is made as a storage bed, with storage beneath the mattress as standard — the wavy bouclé headboard above, practical space below. It is built to order in West Yorkshire in every UK size.

The top edge of the headboard is cut as a run of soft crests — a wave rather than a straight line — and each curve is traced in contrast piping so the shape reads cleanly against the wall. It is upholstered in cream bouclé as shown, or any fabric from our library.

Yes. The Wave Bed is made to order, so the piping can match or contrast — black on cream is the version photographed — and the bouclé or any other fabric can be chosen from our free swatches.

Single (3ft), small double (4ft), double (4ft 6in), king (5ft) and super king (6ft), from £620. Bespoke widths and heights can be made for awkward rooms — ask us when you order.

Each Wave Bed is built and upholstered after you order it in our West Yorkshire workshop, generally in 2–4 weeks, and carries a 5-year structural warranty.

Your bed does not exist yet. When you order, our atelier builds it — your size, your fabric — from the frame up. That is why it takes weeks rather than days, and why no two are quite alike.

Yes — made-to-measure is part of what we do. Speak with a Yorkshire designer and we will draw it for your room.

Doorstep delivery is complimentary nationwide, and a room-of-choice or full assembly service can be arranged. Tell us about stairs and doorways in advance and we will plan for them.

Order free swatches first — we would rather you decide with the fabric in your hand, in your own light, before the atelier cuts it.

Each fabric has its own care guidance, included with your bed, and every frame carries our five-year structural guarantee. For anything else, our returns and warranty policies are linked in the footer.

Check doorways, hallways, stairs and turns against the dimensions table on this page before you order. If you are unsure, send a photograph of the route to the workshop and we will tell you honestly whether it will fit and, if not, what we can make that does.

Complimentary delivery is to your doorstep. Choose room-of-choice delivery (£40) to have it carried to the bedroom, or white-glove assembly (£80) to have it built in place with the packaging taken away. Both are options on this page.

Any standard UK mattress in the same size. The base height in the dimensions table tells you how high the top of the mattress will sit; add your mattress depth to it. Our own mattresses are made in every size to match.

Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we repair, replace or refund in full and collect from your home at our cost. Photographs help us act quickly.

Yes, by appointment at the workshop in Batley, West Yorkshire. Free fabric swatches are posted to your home so you can choose the cloth in your own light before you visit or order.

Yes. Every bed can be made with a front-lift storage base, built to the same size and fabric as the bed; the whole platform rises on gas struts. Choose it under Storage on this page.
