In detail

Which extended headboard bed?

The Arco is the purest version: a shallow arch in a slim dark timber frame, 40 cm past the base on each side as standard and 60 cm on request, in six sizes up to Alaskan King. The Sculpt extends a dramatic serpentine wave beyond the frame on both sides. The Nara sets a padded Japandi headboard in slim timber about a metre wider than the mattress. Kaizen and Kyoto take the idea to a wall-width headboard with floating bedside drawers built in, and the Avoria keeps the headboard low and wide over a platform base.

Planning the width

Measure the wall, not the bed. A king size extended headboard at 40 cm overhang spans about 241 cm; at 60 cm, about 281 cm. Allow for the bedside pieces you want beneath the extensions, and check the dimensions table on each product page, which lists headboard width by size. If your wall is unusual, every design here can be drawn to bespoke dimensions before anything is cut.
