Every bed we make can be built with a front-lift storage base: the whole mattress platform rises on gas struts to reveal a full-width space beneath, made in our Batley workshop to the same size and fabric as the bed. Choose it on any bed page under Storage; it adds £160 to £300 depending on size.

Ottoman and storage beds earn their floor space twice in small bedrooms, guest rooms and apartments, and because the base is made with the bed, the fabric and finish match exactly.

Which beds can have storage?

All of them. Every upholstered bed on this page can be ordered with the front-lift storage base; the option appears on the product page once you choose a size.

How does the storage open?

From the foot of the bed. The platform lifts on gas struts, so the mattress rises with it and nothing needs moving off the bed.

How much does the storage base cost?

£160 for a single, £220 for a small double or double, £260 for a king and £300 for a super king, on top of the bed price.

How long does an ottoman bed take?

The same 2 to 4 weeks as any bed we make. It is built to order in Batley and delivered to your door across mainland UK at no charge.
