Every king size bed here is made to order in our West Yorkshire workshop, upholstered by hand in the fabric you choose. Nothing is pulled from stock; lead time is typically 2–4 weeks, and every frame carries a 5-year structural warranty.

Will a king size bed fit your room?

A king needs 150cm of wall plus walking room. Comfortable both sides: a wall run of about 2.8m. If the room is tighter, a double at 135cm — or a wall-mounted headboard to recover depth — is the honest answer. Measure the wall and the route to the door; send us both and we will tell you plainly whether a king fits, including when it doesn't. Choosing your fabric

Every frame is upholstered to order — bouclé, velvet, linen weaves, chenille or plush. Order free swatches and see the fabric in your own light before you decide.

Pairing a mattress

A king mattress is 150 × 200cm. Ours are pocket-sprung and hand-finished, each with a 60-night free trial and 5-year warranty. How to choose a mattress, honestly.

What size is a king size bed?

150cm wide and 200cm long — 5ft by 6ft 6in. A king mattress is the same 150 × 200cm.

King or super king?

A super king is 180cm wide — another 30cm over a king. If the wall run allows 3.1m or more, the super king is the most comfortable two-person size made in the UK.

How long does a made-to-order king bed take?

Typically 2–4 weeks, because the frame is built and upholstered after you order it.
