Curved beds
The most forgiving silhouette there is. A curved headboard softens rooms with hard lines — new builds, tall ceilings, minimal architecture — and reads gentle from every angle. It is also the largest family in our workshop: from the quiet arcs of Solenne, Arc and the Portofino to the curved surrounds of the Lorcan and Aveline, and the fluted curve of the Belgravia.
Scalloped and wave headboards
Sculptural movement across the wall — a drawn line rather than a block. A wavy headboard suits rooms that need one piece of theatre and nothing else. See the Aureline, the Wave Bed, and the Siena Wave, whose wave is crowned in wooden trim — and for the wave at its most architectural, the Luxembourg, a sweeping double curve traced entirely in wood.
Fluted and channel-stitched beds
Vertical channels catch light and give upholstery structure without hardness — the tailored end of soft. The Belgravia is ours: fluted channel-stitching under a gold-lined curve, with a matching footboard.
Panelled headboards
Ordered geometry — panels read architectural, and they scale beautifully into taller boards and wider walls. The Lorien carries integrated side panels; the Arlisse takes panelling into a made-to-measure headboard, and the same construction extends into full headboard walls.
Minimalist beds
Clean frames return the favour in characterful or busy rooms: they give pattern and texture somewhere calm to land. The Sculpt, the Ashford and the Lorien are the quiet end of the workshop — and Arlo sits between, minimal lines finished with chunky piping.
Bouclé beds
Not a shape but a decision that changes every shape: bouclé brings texture flat weaves cannot photograph. It suits curved and scalloped silhouettes especially. Upholstered beds with wooden frames
The design family the national guides forget: fabric where you lean, visible timber where the eye reads the room and the edges take the wear. That construction has its own collection — the Atelier Edit — and its own honest essay. Its purest expression is the Luxembourg, an upholstered bed with a wooden moulded border tracing the whole curved silhouette.
Gold and metal-trimmed beds
The glamour family: upholstery outlined in metal, so the bed catches light the way jewellery does. The Belgravia wears a gold metal frame tracing its fluted curve; the Great Gatsby pairs a lavish gold-finished frame with mirrored panels — pure Roaring Twenties; and the Shard takes the same idea contemporary, its triangular headboard edged in metal trim. Gold trim asks for restraint everywhere else in the room: let the bed be the one piece of theatre.
Storage and ottoman designs
Any of these silhouettes can carry storage beneath it — ottoman lifts and divan drawers on Avoria, the Bellagio and others above. In smaller rooms, the bed that hides the linen cupboard earns its floor space twice.
